He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Petersen and Frances Petersen; his wife Vicki Sue Matthews Petersen; and his brother Leon Petersen. He is survived by: his children, Matt Petersen (Tamra) of Evanston, Wyoming, Patrick Petersen (Jennie) of Cave Springs, Arkansas and Sami Hobbs (Steven) of Lacey, Washington.; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler Petersen, Kaia, Gryffin Petersen and Lukas Hobbs.
