He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Dentlinger and Catherine Dentlinger (Anstoeter); and his brother Francis Dentlinger. He is survived by: his wife Roxann Dentlinger; his siblings, Loran Dentlinger, Glenn Dentlinger, Keith Dentlinger, Joyce Plunkett, Linda Halbur, Nancy Dentlinger and Julie Casper; his stepdaughter Ashley Delgado; and his grandchildren, Marissa Greene, Alicia Larsen, Hector Delgado and Araceli Delgado.
