He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol; his parents, Melvin and LeeOna; and his brother Freddie Oakley. He is survived by: his wife Reatha Thomas; his children, Mike (Julie), Pat (Stephanie), Tim (Rachel) and Steve (Jamie); and his stepsons, Ken (Tracy) and Matt Thorpe. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; and his 3 great-grandchildren.
