He is survived by: his mother Claudia Iacovetto (Berry); his stepfather Clay Iacovetto; his father Jimmy Schafer; his stepbrothers, Zane Iacovetto, Landon Iacovetto, Jim Schafer, Elisha Schafer and Brian Hoag; his aunt Chaeli; his uncle Art; and his niece Shyanne. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church (601 Carey Ave, Gillette, WY 82716).
The family request no flowers, James loved plants and those would be welcome, or memorials made to the family.
