Normalee Materi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Normalee Materi of Gillette, Wyoming, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Normalee Materi to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Glenn Harrod; her husband Jim Materi; her son Melvin Materi; her granddaughter Renee Smith; her brother Vic Harrod; her siblings-in-law, Helen Harrod and Truett Cooper; and her close friend Ellis Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Field (Kevin) of Gillette and Glenn Materi (Selina) of Upton; her daughter-in-law Georgenna Materi of Newcastle; her siblings, Joe Harrod (Jacque) of Sheridan and Connie Cooper of Marshalltown, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Zach Field, Abbey Field, Mike Norris (Sarah), Bryan Norris (Sayaka), Lindsay Schmitz (Matthew) and Richard Smith. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Normalee's name to benefit Upton Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 278 Upton, WY 82730 or Upton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 182, Upton, WY 82730.
