As we bid Raymond farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Raymond is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jerry Hathaway; and his grandson Jeremy Hathaway. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Roxanna Rae Hathaway and Keith Leon Compton (Wendy); and his stepchildren, Amy Smith (Wyatt) and Adam Konrad (Casie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery (804 S Emerson Ave, Gillette, WY 82716). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gillette Memorial Chapel (210 W 5th St, Gillette, WY 82716). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Journey Church (3601 Southern Dr, Gillette, WY 82718).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
