With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronda Lee Gaffield (Gillette, Wyoming), born in Sidney, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her son Chester Gaffield. She is survived by: her husband Richard James Gaffield; her children, Richard Gaffield Jr. (Jessica), Tike Gaffield, Joseph Gaffield (Miranda) and Sondra Gaston (Gabe); and her siblings, Jim Carter, Sherry Beasley, Joe (Chris), Schmidt, Shelly (Leonard) and Beasel. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild expected soon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronda's memory to the Iowa City Diabetes Research Center or to Richard who will then send in all the donations.
