He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John Ballegeer and Esther Maul; his spouse Shirley Ann Harper; his children, Richard "Rick" Ballegeer, Teresa Hanson and Cheryl Ballegeer; and his grandson Steven Meyers.
He is survived by: his son Kirk Ballegeer of Longmont; his son-in-law Bill Hanson of Green River, Wyoming; his daughter Denise Bramwell (Brian) of Green River, Wyoming; his daughter-in-law Cathy Ballegeer of Aurora, Colorado; and his sister Sharon Ross (Glade) of Rangely, Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
