He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Gardea and Rose Chacon; and his sister Anna Maria Gardea. He is survived by: his siblings, Olga Munoz (Eduardo) of Green River, Wyoming, Raul Gardea (Debbie) of Green River and Poncho Gardea of Green River; and his nieces and nephews, Luzi Reyes (Javier) of Green River, Maria Munoz of South Jordan, Utah, Rachel Schaefer (Ryan) of Green River, Alberto Munoz (Erin) of West Jordan, Utah, David Munoz (Heidi) of Green River, Roger Munoz (Heidi) of Wellington, Colorado and Ricky Gardea (Felicia) of Green River. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vase Funeral Home (154 Elk St, Rock Springs, WY 82901-5241). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (900 Hitching Post Dr, Green River, WY 82935). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
