She was predeceased by: her parents, John Payton and Lucille Payton (Smith); and her brother Merton Payton. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Frederick; her sons, Shawn Frederick of Franklin and Craig Frederick of Guernsey; her grandchildren, Austin Tyler of Windsor, Dakota Kohfield (Tanner) of Boulder, Caleb Frederick of Nashville and Abby Frederick of Atlanta, Georgia; her great grandchild Eli Tyler; and her siblings, Smith Payton, Florence Hayes (Bob) and Betty Jo Martinez.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Guernsey-Sunrise High School (172 W Burlington St, Guernsey, WY 82214).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Platte County Library, 904 9th Street, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 for the Guernsey Public Library.
