He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gene, Ruth Johnson, Rita Sibbett and Arthur Hess; his father Kent Allen Hess; and his sister Cora Hess.
He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Johnson Hess; his brother Kent Evan; his stepfather Tony Bettine; and his niece Savannah. He is also survived by extended family and many, many friends.
He had to give up work when his kidneys began to fail and found himself having to be on dialysis after enduring a severe bout of COVID 19.
Also, he wanted people to know how important organ donation is for people like him and Miranda.
