She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Heninger and Marian Heninger (Dean); and her brother Bruce Heninger. She is survived by: her husband Steve Kennerk; her sons, Sean of Lander and Jacob Kennerk of Lander; her siblings, Connie Cassidy (Paul), Paula Morrow (Wade), Bill Heninger (Annie) and Alan Heninger (Sheila); and her grandson Lance McCabe (Casey). She is also survived by two great-granddaughters; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lander United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, due to Carol's many flower and plant allergies, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lander United Methodist Church Food Pantry in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main St, Riverton, WY 82501.
