He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacqueline Brown (Warren) and William M. Brown; his son Jeremy James Brown; and his brothers, Jim Brown, John Brown and Paul Brown.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Brown (Keith) of Lander; his children, Tanya Brown of Lander and Tylor Brown of Gillette; his siblings, Dorothy Pence, Victoria Gifford of Georgia, Jeanne Beemer of Colorado and Dinnis Brown of Lander; and his grandchildren, Bridgetta Brown of Riverton and Bradley Brown of Gillette.
