Richard W. Stalder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Richard W. Stalder of Lander, Wyoming. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis W. Stalder Sr. and Martha Stalder; his brother Lewis Stalder Jr.; and his father-in-law Carl Samietz. He is survived by: his wife Becky Stalder of Lander, Wyoming; his mother-in-law Virginia Samietz of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Jennifer Mecham (Jon) of Arizona, Frank Kaumo of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Kara Sessions (Tracy) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his siblings, Steve Stalder (Linda) of Louisiana, James Stalder (Rosaria) of Texas, Greg Stalder of Missouri, Pamela Garton of Oklahoma and Susan Bean (Tom) of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Haley Meyer of California, Hannah Meyer of Oregon, Maddox Kaumo and Jackson Sessions of Rock Springs, Wyoming. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Santa Fe Banquet Room (1635 Elk St, Rock Springs, WY 82901).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kari's Access Awards, PO Box 1089, Rock Springs, WY 82902 under the Sweetwater One Public School Foundation, an organization dear to the family's heart, to honor his memory and continue his tradition of giving.
