He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Scucchi of San Diego, CA, Justin Layland (Kelly) of Lehi, UT and Jordan Layland (Tera) of Evanston, WY; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Matthew, Sydney, Abigail, Degan and Erin; his great grandchildren, Archer and Birdie; his sister Leslie Hayes; his stepmother Kay Layland; and his stepsiblings, Loyde Cobb, Jacquie Louie and Mike Cobb. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kemmerer Stake Center Cultural Hall.
