He was predeceased by: his daughter Leah Scholes (Grant). He is survived by: his wife Ruth; and his children, Lori Christopherson (Phil), Lisa Wilkinson (Clynn) and Daniel Hauck (Jessie). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
