She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wheeler and Blanche Wheeler; her siblings, William Wheeler Jr., Dorothy Wheeler and Bridget Wheeler; her in-laws, Bayard and Helen Van Gieson; and her brothers-in-law, Victor Van Gieson and Robert King.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Van Gieson; her husband Lee Van Gieson; her sons, Victor Van Gieson (Heather), Jayson Van Gieson and Nathan Van Gieson (Amy); her siblings, Francis King, Katherine Hammond (Tim), Michelle Wilkins (Pete), Julie Maxwell (Wayne), Thomas Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, Joseph Wheeler (Linda), John Wheeler and Peter Wheeler; and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Wheeler, Leslie Brooksby (Darren) and Avery Van Gieson (Michelle). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lyman LDS Chapel (127 N Main St, Lyman, WY 82937). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (127 N Main St, Lyman, WY 82937). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at the Lyman City Cemetery Cemetery.
