She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Brown (Lippman) and James Brown; her brothers, Delwin Brown and Delbert Brown; her sister-in-law Anne Brown; her nephews, Jeff James and Mark James; and her great-nephews, William Hanna and Tanner Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" James; her son Tyler (Donna); her grandchildren, Collin, Reilly and Aedan of Windsor, CO; her son Todd (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Zaccary and Joshua of Colorado Springs; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Brown Heald, Jarold "Murph" James, B'Ann Johnson and Patricia James.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (3010 W Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation, cspff.net.
