We announce the death of Katherine Hooper (Powell, Wyoming), who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 90. Katherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Katherine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albion Whitcomb and Marie Whitcomb (Burck); her sisters, Thelma Whitcomb and Vivian Kinsey; her sons, Stanely Oliver and Stephen Oliver; and her grandson Jared Oliver.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel R. Oliver; her brother Dr. Carl Whitcomb (LaJean); her daughter SanDee Wake (Marv) of Worland; and her grandchildren, Brooke Guadagna (Anthony), Chelsea Moore (Jerel) and Nick Oliver (Sheryl Flesher). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
