He was predeceased by : his parents, William Harry Parsons and Ida Martha Hammell. He is survived by : his wife Barbara W. Clark Parsons; his sisters, Joyce Klabunde (Dick) and Gwen Black Becker; his children, Barbara Lee Brophy (Jay), William Eugene Parsons (Tami) and Beverly Marie Theresa Wilts (Ron); his grandchildren, Calista Marie Selby (Edward), Emily Brophy, Faith Wailes (Don), Tawni Wollard (Andrew), Nicholas Stuckert (Ines), Joe Parsons and George Rowe (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Briella Selby, Kieran Selby, Olivia Parson, Ian Hanson, Abram Wailes, Elizabeth Wailes, Lauren Rowe, Brady Rowe and Evan Rowe.

In lieu of flowers a Bill Parsons Math Scholarship Fund is being established.

“12/3/2021. Just found out about Bill's final graduation. From a long time ago. (Washington State University summers) many fond memories of Bill. Also we stopped in Rawlins one time. "How can you stand to live in Michigan? So many trees. How do you know where you are?" How about the story of the bull's tale on the electric fence?
