With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene Mark Thompson of Riverton, Wyoming, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thompson and Mildred Thompson (Gray); his father-in-law Lloydie Day; his siblings, Charlotte (Jack), Eddie, Chuck (Margaret), Hitch (Ricahrd) and Walter; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Runberg, Harold Day and Duane Cady.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Green; his child Dax Thompson (Jamie) of Riverton; his grandchildren, Collin, Mollie and Jillian; his child Cort Thompson (Melissa) of Cheyenne; his grandchildren, Maycee and Addy; his child Ryan Green (Jamie) of Riverton; his grandchildren, Morgan and Arika; his great grandchildren, Huxley and Weston; his grandchildren, Kira (Kaden) and Kolby Green of Riverton; his great grandchildren, Tryzmen and Lexxus; his grandchild Danica Thompson-Janus (Aaron) of McLeod; his great grandchildren, Sha, Hailei, Connor and Devon; his siblings, Warren Thompson (Sherry), Bobby Thompson (Georgene), Harold "Hub" Thompson (Jolene), Jeanie Larsen (Mark) and Mary Runberg; his mother-in-law Lorraine Day; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Cady, Janet Day and Verna Worthy; Copelynn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverton Livestock Auction (1490 S 8th St E, Riverton, WY 82501). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
