He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William Oaks and Julia Oaks (Cochrane); and his wife Dorothy "Dot" Oaks. He is survived by: his children, Brian Oaks (Janell) of Riverton, Wyoming and Susan Yount (Steve) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his siblings, Dottie Lewis of Arkansas, Jim Oaks (Merrie) of Illinois and Bob Oaks (Julie) of Wyoming; and his sisters-in-law, Elva, Helen and Jean. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
