James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Alexander Yager and Helen Gertrude Yager (Hayes); and his siblings, Perry and Jackie. He is survived by: his wife Julie Yager; his children, Karly Smith (Mark), James Yager (Sara), Jessica Hollaway (Erik) and Jordan Yager; his grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca, Wyatt, Kwynn, Scot, Lilli, Cameron and Nathian; and his siblings, Janelle Bancroft (Eric), Judy Pallagi, Jane Boyke and Mike Yager.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (606 N 8th St W, Riverton, WY 82501).
