John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rutledge Longfellow Sr. and Hattie Manerva Longfellow (Kelly); his son John Dale Longfellow; and his sisters, Alice, Mary and Lucille.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Branum; his daughter Cathy Daiss; and his grandchildren, Amanda Morey and Nick Day. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3540 W Main St, Riverton, WY 82501).
