He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heil and Pauline Wiedeman Heil; his brother Lendell Heil; and his wives, Lois Woody and Barbara Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Rod (Kim Heil), Rhonda (Kevin Dowdle), Teresa (Cody Paterson), Tammy (Dustin Payne) and Sherry Ann (Rick Barker); and his sisters, Marlene (Jim Miller), Carol Holt and Diana (Lawrence Crippen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
