He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shepherd and Ardis Shepherd (Baker). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shepherd; and his children, Jodie Shepherd-Denningham (Wayne), Kirk Shepherd (Shelly) and Brian Shepherd. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Riverton Senior Center.
