He is survived by : his daughters, Debbie Callas (Kevin) and Stephanie Smith; his granddaughters, Raven Beattie (Jonathan), Shenay Nelson (Bryant) and Auna Mahaffey (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Ella, Olivia and Collins Beattie; and his close friend Lowell Merrell.
