He was predeceased by: his father Paul David Babel; and his close friend Danielle Jensen. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Mae Walsh Babel; his son Dylan Babel (Hannah) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his siblings, Steve Painovich of Casper, Wyoming, Barbara Bogataj of St. George, Utah and Paula Kimmel (Thomas) of Richland; his sister-in-law Brandie "Jensen" Gibbins; and his grandchildren, Ivory Babel and Harmony Babel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully requests donations be made in David's memory to the Red Desert Humane Society, located at 310 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901, reflecting his love for animals and the natural world.
