He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tyler and Opal Ayres; his wife Elizabeth Tyler; his sons, Ron Tyler, Kenny Tyler and Dave Tyler; his daughter-in-law Chris Tyler; his grandsons, John Tyler and Richard Tyler; his siblings, Jim Tyler, Delores Miller and Rose Robertson; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Miller and Frank Robertson.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Don" Tyler Jr. of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Ted Tyler (Gwen) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Mary Kay Tyler of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his brother-in-law Robert Cuthbertson of Green River, Wyoming; and his grandchildren, Donny, Chelsi, Amber, Brittany, Trista and Tyson. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, several cousins; nieces; nephews.
