He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Sims; and his parent-in-law Lynn Sims. He is survived by: his mother Elisabeth Kuhn of Green River, Wyoming; his wife Carla Wise of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his sisters-in-law, Robin Cheese of Cheyenne and Lanette Kroupa (Jay) of Grand Junction, Colorado.; and his nieces, Megan Wostrel (Nathan) of Grand Island, Nebraska, Brittany Brownell (Brian) of Bar Nunn, Wyoming, Lyndzie Parker (John) of Grand Junction and Makenzie Vondrus (Jake) of Grand Junction. He is also survived by numerous cousins in Grand Junction, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
