He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Acker and Anastasia Gecan; his daughters, Laurie and Dyan; his sister Theresa; and his parents-in-law, Don and Frances Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hughes of Rock Springs; his sons, Dennis Hughes of Austin, David Hughes of Rock Springs and Dan Acker; his brothers, Alfred Acker (Barbara) and Michael Acker of Rock Springs; his grandchildren, Danny, Gabe, Emma, Chantelle, Drew and Katie; and his great grandchild Brynlee. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
