He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Maestas and Vera Mary Valdez; his siblings, Gilbert Maestas, Viola and Josie Maestas; and his son Matthew Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Maestas; his children, Patricia Guinn, April Dittman and Manuel Maestas Jr. (Dusty) of Rock Springs; and his grandchildren, Devon Siegel (David), Vanya Dittman (Gabriel Adams), Julisha Munson, Juanita Elrod, Carson Elrod, Leia Maestas, David Maestas and Skylar Coleman.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Vase Funeral Home (154 Elk St, Rock Springs, WY 82901-5241). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (116 Broadway St, Rock Springs, WY 82901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
