He is survived by: his wife Glenna Lee Boren of Rock Springs; his children, Phillip Rustin Atkinson (Sarah) of Little Falls, Jamie Lyn Evans (Ed) and Kimberlie Ann Atkinson of Rock Springs; his sister Shauna Fish (Jon) of Orangevale, California.; and his grandson Phillip. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
