He was predeceased by: his father Don Hunter; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Nancy Pivik; his uncle Richard Hansen; his aunts, Nancy McLain and Betsy Jennings; his grandparents, Rudy, Mary Pivik, George and Mazie Hunter; and his niece Mandy Streit.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnna Hunter of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his mother Shannon Hunter of Heber, Utah; his sister Kim Streit (Thomas) of Heber City, Utah; his sons, Brandon Hunter (Krysta) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Keaton Hunter (Brittnay) of Salt Lake City, Utah and Branden Cheese-Martinez (Ron) of Murray, Utah; his brothers-in-law, Ed Pivik of Houston, Texas and Dewayne Pivik (Debbie) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his nephews, Kody Pivik (Katie) and Erik Pivik (Tiana); his grandchildren, Alyson Hunter, Zoey Blanch, Mya Hunter, Bohdi Hunter and Kyson Hunter; his aunt Vicky Hansen; and his nephew Tavner Streit.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vase Funeral Home (154 Elk St, Rock Springs, WY 82901-5241).
