He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Magagna and Mary Abrahm Magagna; his former wives, Olga Yovich and Olga Magagna; and his siblings, Fred Magagna and Emma Magagna Pointer.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen Peterson-Magagna of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Michael Magagna of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mark Magagna (Annette) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Linda Magagna Coniglio (Dino) of Arvada, Colorado, Jeanne Magagna Ulery (Jim) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Bruce; his daughter-in-law Diana Peterson; his grandchild Christian; his sister Mary Jo Magagna McBride of Berkeley, California; his grandchildren, David Coniglio, Dena Coniglio Gaulke, Michael Christopher Magagna, Erika Magagna Oakson, Greg Seals, Mason Magagna, Wesley Magagna, Jonah Ulery, Jordan Ulery Nuckols, Jenna Ulery Postell and Jaylene Ulery; and his great grandchildren, Monroe Coniglio, Grace Coniglio, Frankie Oakson, Ayla Oakson, Judah Nuckols and Jamie Nuckols. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family respectfully requests that donations be made in Chick's name to Holy Spirit Catholic Community Building Fund, 116 Broadway, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.

“My deepest and heartfelt sympathy is extended to the Magagna Family at the passing of Mr. Chick Magagna. I was a privileged boy from Number One Hill to know this man and play basketball for North Side, also enjoy him taking time and visiting SCM school by providing his time and passion to provide the students a PE program in the Parish Center. Chick served as a pallbearer for my father Jerome Powell Sr. He was an unselfish servant leader for the youth of Rock Springs. His constant example of leadership made me a better man.”
