The passing of Ruth Kriest of Rock Springs, Wyoming leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Robert Hannan and Georgette Almeda Welch; her husband Richard Arlen Kriest; her son Brian Kriest; her sons-in-law, Butch Murray and Joseph Scott; and her brother-in-law Robert Epperly.
She is survived by: her children, David Kriest of Rawlins, Wyoming, Holly Murray of Sewickley, Pennsylvania and Shari Scott of Clinton, Pennsylvania; her sister Sandra Epperly of Worthington; her grandchildren, Stephanie Paulsen (Tim), Jennifer Kriest, Zachary Murray, Tyler Scott (Amber) and Katelyn Ruttenberg (Stephen); and her great grandchildren, Whitney Paulsen, Brian Paulsen and Theodore Ruttenberg. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santa Fe Southwest Banquet Room (1635 Elk St, Rock Springs, WY 82901).
