He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Ortega and Audilia Ortega; his daughter Marcy Ortega; his brothers, Dean, Floyd and Frank Ortega; and his son-in-law Mario DeHalle.
He is survived by: his children, Tomas Ortega, Marina Ortega Eldridge (Ty) and Mataya Ortega; his stepchildren, Erika Kersey, Christopher Kersey, Kelly Lell and Amberly Lell; and his siblings, Lawrence Ortega, Judy, Paula and Liz Ortega. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
