Donald Wayne Schuman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Wayne Schuman (Sheridan, Wyoming), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Schuman and Mollie Schuman; his sons, Donald Jr. and Mark; his wife Melva Tetchner-Hoyer; and his friend Docia Carrol-Chesbro.
He is survived by: his former wife Delores Palmer (Dee); his children, Sue (Keahey), Mike and Val; and his siblings, George Schuman (Doris), Les Schuman (Shirley), Jerry Schuman (Joann) and Phyllis Foss. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1300 W 5th St, Sheridan, WY 82801).
Per Don's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Martin Luther Grammar School, 1325 Burton Street, Sheridan, Wyoming.
