She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Ehlers and Margaret Ehlers (Gridley); and her husband Clark Denzler Wieland. She is survived by: her children, Clark, Cynthia Schluckebier (CD), Daniel of Aldie, VA and Cheryl Grubbs (LtCol); and her grandchild Laurel Kortum (Schluckebier). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made in Joan G. Wieland's name to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1 st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
