He is survived by : his wife Marcia Powers of Dayton, WY; his brother Chuck (Carol Powers) of Great Falls; his children, Caroline Powers of California and Nicholas Powers of Boise Idaho; his stepdaughters, Dawn Kramer of Dayton, WY and Kristi (Darrell Petersen) of Riverton, WY; his grandchildren, Austin Petersen (Abigail Petersen) of Riverton, WY and Brandi Petersen of Casper, WY; and his great grandchild Vaughn Petersen of Riverton, WY..

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution in Roy's name may be made to Wyoming Stock Growers Association, 113 E 20th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
