He was predeceased by: his friend Sam Hampton; his wife Edith Eva Lee Hoffman; his daughters, Wanda Jean Chopping and Vanessa Hoffman; his parents, Norman Hoffman and Clara Hoffman (Bullard); his nephew Dennis "Butch" (Doreen); and his niece Shirley Zane (Harry).
He is survived by: his children, Lavan DeMar and Michael Wayne (Alecia); his grandchildren, Fiona, Richard, Justina, Colin, Nicholas, Christopher, Hannah, Corey (Kennedy) and Abagail; his great grandchildren, Channah, Daud, Matthew (Stephanie), Monica, Justice, Alexis, Zander, Zoey, Drake, Noah, Marlow, Lyla, Izabella, Titus, Bentley, Blair and Eden; and his daughter Genevieve Pettit.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ten Sleep Senior Center.
