He was predeceased by: his father Harold Press Stewart; his spouses, Anna Dee (Andy) and Rhea; his mother Erlene Stewart; his brother Bradly Stewart; and his son-in-law Kevin Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Shannon Risser (Jeff), Jaymie Stewart, Johnathan Stewart (Ashley), Sean Stewart (Quincy) and Ben Stewart (Kelly); and his siblings, H. Val (Kathy), Michael J. (JoAnn), Timothy Wayne (Deb) and Pam Driscoll Davies (Wayne).
