He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; and his son John Michael. He is survived by: his daughters, Margie Molitor (Leon) of Thermopolis and Barb Pecks of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Nathan Molitor of Sheridan and Megan Molitor of Sheridan; and his great grandchild Branston Mowry (Montana) of Jordan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellsworth Funeral Home and Cremation (321 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canova Cemetery.
He served on the Dakota State Foundation and was named outstanding alumni and outstanding educator at DSU.
