With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Mayfield (Thermopolis, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Shupe Mayfield; his son Charles Leroy Mayfield (Lee); his father Conrad L. Mayfield; his stepfather Melvin L. Slack; and his siblings, Martha Louise Mayfield, Peggy L. Slack-Lohman, Roy L. Mayfield and James C. Slack (Skip).
He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Mayfield (Lawrence); his son Ray Mayfield (Alan) of Denver; and his siblings, Evelyn R. Holmes (Don) of Huron, SD, Nancy Davies (Dave) of Anaheim, CA, Bruce A. Slack of Savannah and Michael Slack of Lebanon, Missouri. He is also survived by two grandsons; two granddaughters; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
