Laura Dockter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Dockter of Thermopolis, Wyoming, born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Laura farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laura is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Harriet Wilde Trank (William Trank); her husband John Harvey (Verner Dockter); and her siblings, Bill Riggs, Wayne Riggs and Debbie Trank.
She is survived by: her children, Harold (Cheryl), Kenny, Wesley (Kimberly), Dockter and Rhonda Hahn; and her siblings, John Riggs, Mari Riggs and Margie Porter (Sonny). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Monument Hill Cemetery (105 Airport Rd, Thermopolis, WY 82443).
