It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur William Thompson (Torrington, Wyoming), born in Platteville, Colorado, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thompson and Faye Thompson; his sister Meredith Koehler; and his son Randy Thompson. He is survived by: his friend Lee Phillips; his wife Enid Thompson; his siblings, Al Thompson and Dorothy Buderus of Fort Collins, Colorado; his children, Rick Thompson (Janine) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Connie Seibel (John) of Burdick, Kansas and Rob Thompson (Karen) of Frisco, Texas; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his stepchildren, Debi Edmunds (Randy) of Torrington, Marty McKee (Karen) of Torrington and Sonia Andrews (Mike) of Mobridge. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Art requested that donations be made to the Torrington Little League in his memory.
