He was predeceased by: his father John; and his wives, Ruth Harris and Gertie Poage. He is survived by: his son Craig Eddington (Roxann) of Torrington; his grandchildren, Shannan Eddington of New Mexico and Katie Ellefson (Austin) of California; his great grandchild Fallon Ellefson; his stepgrandchildren, Adam (Karyn), Luke (Beth), Rebecca and Rachel; and his brother John Eddington.
In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Episcopal Church in David's name.
