He is survived by: his parents, Steve Zimmerman and Marty Zimmerman (Lundberg) of Torrington; his children, Kane and Laela; his siblings, Keenan (Kimmy) of Texas and Makayla (Ben) of Torrington; his nieces, Aspyn, Keelyn and Norah; his nephew Nolan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kane and Laela; and his grandparents, Rollans Zimmerman of Wheatland, Milton and Betty Lundberg of Siloam Springs. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in EJ's name to Ability Tree of Arkansas at P.O. Box 7168 Siloam Springs, AR 72761 to assist children with autism.
