She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her son Harvey; her brother Larry; and her stepsister Linda. She is survived by: her sons, Marvin McCabe (JoLynn) of Ft. Mohave, Arizona and Kevin McCabe (Erin) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her sister Janet Broers of Rozette, Wyoming; her granddaughter Mandy McCabe of Ft. Mohave; her great grandchildren, Kaden Mills of Ft. Mohave and Christopher Mills of Ft. Mohave; and her stepsisters, Barbara Peterson, Janice Shields, Betty Able and Sandy Lumus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Torrington Volunteer Fire Department in Karen's name.
