She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Luther and Alice Evelyn McConnell (Woollums); her husband Harold Hoover; her great grandchildren, Tiffany and Chyann Banta; and her pet Peter.

She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Lee Pals of Tallahassee and Linda Louise Gannon of Forest City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Keith Pals (Mandy), Aaron Pals (Kathy), Shawn Pals (Angela), Joey Williamson (Olivia), Ryan Gannon, Teya Adams (Jason) and Amy Pals; and her sister Linda Wallace of Las Vegas, Nevada.. She is also survived by three great grandsons; one great granddaughter.
